Recent Hyatt Regency Atlanta Northwest Review: "Conveniently located off of the interstate, the hotel is situated on a small hill and set back from traffic in a wooded area. It is right next door to a couple of excellent restaurants serving Mexican and Seafood. The rooms are suites and as such, are very large. One room has a sink, fridge, bar area, T.V. and sitting room. The other adjoining area has either 1 or 2 beds and the bathroom. The hotel is a great value when you compare the price for hotels of a much lower quality and much smaller rooms. The staff is always very polite and genuinely friendly (especially in the dining areas). The only thing that the hotel lacks is a dedicated Jacuzzi area. (The hotel used to have a wonderful, quiet, intimate Jacuzzi area that was a great [place to unwind, but they lost it during a remodeling). However that is a personal preference and is in no way meant to detract from what I believe is an an outstanding hotel.Every time I am in Atlanta, this is the only hotel I will consider"

One of Atlanta’s larger suburbs, Marietta houses the Dobbins Air Reserve Base and a Lockheed-Martin manufacturing plant. The Civil War plays an interesting role for the town: all but three buildings were burned during Sherman’s March, but the Marietta now hosts a Gone with the Wind Museum. Also of note, Marietta’s principal landmark is a 56-foot steel chicken.
